Biography

Born in Montreal, Sabrina Maisonneuve is currently completing her Bachelor in Studio Arts at Concordia University (2010-2026).
Her long academic career has led her to combine various subjects and disciplines, such as robotics, sculpture, bronze and geology. Preferably through painting and textiles, Sabrina explores the collective humanity that weaves us together. The choice to combine painting and textiles creates an intimate, storytelling effect in her work.

Recipient of a Millennium Student Contribution Scholarship, In-Course Bursary, Global Skills Opportunities and Peter N. Thomson Family Field School Award, Sabrina has exhibited at Galerie VAV and the Art Matters Festival.

Née à Montréal en 1982, Sabrina Maisonneuve complète présentement son Baccalauréat en beaux-arts (BFA) à l’Université Concordia à Montréal (2010-2026) en Art Studio. Son long parcours universitaire lui fait combiner diverses matières et sujets comme la robotique, la sculpture, le bronze, et la géologie. Préférablement à travers peinture et textile, Sabrina explore l’humanité commune qui nous tisse et entrelace nos souvenirs et atomes. Le choix de rallier peinture et textile crée un effet raconteur et intime à ses œuvres.
